"The painting symbolizes how love can make you rise above yourself. I created this painting during my pregnancy. Because of that I wasn’t able to use my normal oil paint. So, I had to experiment with water-based oil paint. The experiment turned out to be a success.

This oil painting is painted with the palette knife and has beautiful striking blue colours. The painting is part of a diptych but can also be purchased separately. The painting is framed in a black frame." - Elise Eekhout
