Artist's Profile:

Art in all its forms can be frustrating, rewarding, personal and not least beneficial to health. I create artwork that has inspired in me a reaction, often as not through the force’s of Nature or man-made events. I’ve been painting since early childhood and can recall my father, who was what used to be called a travelling salesman, bring home a second-hand easel for me which I still use to this day!

My preference is dramatic representation of natural events and the forces of nature often translated through the sea, sky and the unknown outer-space! My technique is best described as abstraction, where reality is dramatised for aesthetic effect and impact.

I organise and run art workshops, with the primary aim of encouraging people to tap into their creative side, these have been a great success for both those attending and for myself as the catalyst for their new found enjoyment.
